Quality by UK nation and region

This chart shows the average percentage four star, and the average percentage of three star and above, for each UK nation and English region. To calculate these averages, the results for each submission made by an HEI in that area are weighted according to the number of full-time equivalent (FTE) staff in the submission.

The chart indicates that high proportions of world-leading and internationally excellent research were identified across all nations and regions shown.
